How to use Apple Pay with Transcash

Why add Transcash cards to Apple Pay?

Using Apple Pay for mobile payment is simple and works with the devices you use every day – from phones to connected watches: iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad and Mac!


Now you can enjoy all the benefits of your Transcash Mastercard®: your card informations are secure because it’s not on your device, and it’s not shared when you pay.


Paying with your phone in stores, on apps and on the web has never been easier or more secure!


With Apple Pay, Apple’s electronic wallet, your payment information is centralized and protected, and you don’t need to take out your Transcash card!

How to add a Transcash card to Apple Pay

Apple Pay is integrated into the Wallet application already installed on your device. All that’s left to do is add your Transcash cards to Apple Pay using one of the following methods:

> From Transcash Mastercard® application :

  1. 1. Connect to the Transcash Mastercard® application.
  2. 2. Click on the ‘Add to Apple Cards app‘ button at the top of the home page.
  3. 3. Choose the device to add.
  4. 4. The Apple Pay connection takes place automatically and your card is added in seconds, as you are already securely authenticated.

> From cards application :

  1. 1. Open the Cards application
  2. 2. Click on the + icon to add a card
  3. 3. Click on « Credit card»
  4. 4. Click on « Continue»
  5. 5. Scan the side of your physical card displaying the 16 digits or manually enter the 16 digits of your virtual card
  6. 6. Enter your card’s cryptogram (CVV)
  7. 7. Accept Terms and Conditions
  8. 8. Validate your card (verification code sent by SMS)
  9. 9. Enter the code and voilà!

How to pay with Apple Pay ?

> Pay in stores

With Apple Pay, you can pay in-store quickly and securely by depositing (contactless) your iPhone or Apple Watch on the cashier’s payment terminal.

Check that the merchant has NFC technology by looking for the contactless symbol on the Eftpos terminal!

Unlock your device and pay with Touch ID or Face ID, depending on your Apple device.

Pay on applications and websites

Apple Pay lets you pay easily and in just a few seconds in apps and on the Internet without having to create a customer account or fill out lengthy forms.

To proceed to payment in Safari on your iPhone and iPad, simply click on the “Apple Pay” button at the payment stage and confirm using Face ID or Touch ID.

On your Mac computer, click on the “Apple Pay” button and confirm your payment using your iPhone or Apple Watch. On your MacBook Pro, you can use Touch ID on the Touch Bar.

What are the compatible devices with Apple Pay ?

Apple Pay compatible devices are :

  • All iPhones and iPads equipped with Face ID or Touch ID
    (except iPhone 5s)
  • Apple Watch Series 1 and later models
  • Mac computers with Touch ID
