Following the purchase of products/services from a merchant (store or internet), you have the option of presenting your Transcash card to the merchant to receive a refund according to the terms and conditions defined by said merchant.
Refund following a purchase made with one of your Transcash cards (Black or Red):
The amount of the refund will be credited to the Transcash card you presented to the merchant according to the merchant’s refund terms and conditions and after deduction of the applicable fees indicated in article 35 of our Terms and Conditions.
Refund following a purchase made with a third-party payment method (other than your Transcash cards):
The refund amount will be credited to the Transcash card you presented to the merchant according to the merchant’s refund terms and conditions and after deduction of the applicable fees indicated in article 35 of our General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Important information:
Merchant refunds of €100 or less are automatically credited to the “available balance” of your Transcash card within 2 to 3 working days.
For security reasons, merchant refunds over €100 are not automatically credited to your Transcash card’s “available balance”.
If you have received a refund over €100, please report it to our Finance Department by sending an email to [email protected]
specifying the last 4 digits of your card, the name of the merchant and the expected refund amount.
You may be asked to provide proof of purchase for the amount of the refund if the purchase was made with a card other than your Transcash card.
